Kirjastuselt SE&JS tarkuseraamat A fable from the SE&JS Publishers
|
|
The 64-page story- and picture-book contains fables about a miller, a boy and a donkey of told by ten nations. The stories and pictures join the historical wisdom and the talent of young Estonian artists on the moral that those who try to please everyone, will please no-one. It is best to do what you feel is right, and stick to it. Useful also as a schoolbook, as each story is presented both in Estonian and the original language. The first story (Aesop) is from approximately 620–564 BC, the last story (by Janek Mäggi) was written in 2010. Compiled by Laine Randjärv Jänes ISBN 978-9949-9027-5-0 P.S. One and a half months after the publication of People's Donkey, the compiler, reurning from a travel to China, brought with her the same story in Chinese, originating also from Aesop. See /link/ |
